Application Instructions

(see also video #1)

Apply base coat... (any regular nail polish)
Apply special 'Konad Nail Art Polish' to the Disc...
Remove excess polish by scraping away from yourself, at an angle, until the scraper snaps off the edge of the disc. Scrape only once and make it a good and firm snap. (If you are holding the scraper at the wrong angle you will not get a snap sound and may catch the edge of the scaper in the etched design.)
IMMEDIATELY push down firmly and ROLL in one smooth motion to pick up the design with the stamper. You may also press straight down and immediately "Pop" the stamper up. You must be quick between the scraping and design pick up!
Firmly ROLL the image onto your nail. Don't stamp, ROLL!
Apply Konad Top Coat with a quick swipe. Konad Top Coat is formulated not to smear your nail art, as other top coats are likely to do. Don't continue to brush the Top Coat, as you can make it run if you work at it, especially over the darker stamping colors.

French Nail Application (see also video #2)

Step 1

Apply base coat... (any regular nail polish)

Step 2
Apply special 'Konad Nail Art Polish' to the Disc...You do not have to completely cover the tip etching. Just a blob at one end will do.

Step 3
Force polish into the design by scraping away from yourself, at an angle, until the scraper snaps off the edge of the Disc. You will have the french tip design at the side of the Disc, not opposite you, so you can pull the polish into the design lengthwise. Scrape only once and make it a good firm pull across the design, until it snaps off the edge of the Disc. (If you are holding the Scraper at the wrong angle you will not get a snap sound and the area around the design will still have polish on it, which will pickup on the Stamper.... not good

Step 4

IMMEDIATELY push down firmly and quickly "Pop" the Stamper up. You must be quick between the scraping and design pick up!

Step 5
Roll the image toward yourself so you can see where the tip is being applied. Bracing your finger on your thumb and rolling toward yourself is the easiest way to get it straight. Roll, don't Stamp. It will take a few attempts to get good at French Tips, so don't prematurely despair.

Step 6
Apply Konad Top Coat with a quick swipe. Konad Top Coat is formulated not to smear your nail art, as other top coats are likely to do. However, don't continue to brush the Top Coat, as you can make it run if you work at it, especially if you are stamping the darker colors, like wine or black....
